ITS CHRISTMASSSSSSSS!!!!!

Christmas is such a magical time of year, but when you have a poorly baby in the hospital, so much of that magic gets taken away, it makes a horrible situation even more horrible. One of our many missions is to try and make times like this a little more pleasant, to put a smile on the faces of those who are not feeling festive.

This year with covid around it made things like this very tricky but we were given the go-ahead to drop off some presents for all the families who have babies on the unit this Christmas time. We made every family a goodie bag with a storybook that they can read and enjoy with their poorly baby and/siblings, a personalised Wish Upon a Fairy Christmas tree decoration (a great keepsake), a pair of lovely festive fluffy socks, a small rattle as a gift for baby , some yummy snacks and of course a Christmas card which we included an inspirational quote inside everyone, to make sure they all know what an amazing job they’re doing 🥰

They may only be small gifts but we know just how much the little things can mean when you’re having such a difficult time. We all absolutely love these small but personal touches that we are able to give, it’s one of our favourite parts of what we do.
