Our aim is to be the fairy godmothers for those amazing doctors, nurses and parents on the Colchester Neonatal Unit and help ‘grant’ any wishes they may have to improve the ward or support staff training to ensure they can be the best they can be!

What Do We Do?

We are hoping to raise funds to support the unit and help ‘grant’ any wishes they may have to improve the ward or support staff training.

We hold regular fundraising events throughout the year, these include quizzes, family fun days and Santa’s grottos just to name a few. We have our own raffle licence, which enables us to hold raffles at all events and online. These events all raise valuable funds to support the Neonatal unit. 

 

Support Group

Between us all we have a wealth of knowledge and experience of premature births, full term birth following loss, long term oxygen, hernias, NG feeding, PEG feeding, heart issues and the list continues.

We all love a chat and usually one of us is around 24/7 if you ever need to reach out to us.

We are also looking for donations for prizes for our fundraising events. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters so far, we’ve already been able to grant so many wishes! If you or someone you know could contribute a prize, we would love to hear from you. Every donation, big or small, helps us make more wishes come true. Another great way to get involved is by taking part in our events! We’ve hosted exciting raffles, quizzes, bingo, our yearly Christmas event – Festive Fairyland and even free competitions with amazing prizes. There’s always something fun happening, and we’d love for you to be a part of it!

Want to do more? Host your own sponsored event, like a bike ride, walk, marathon, or skydive. Your efforts would make a real difference for Colchester’s Neonatal Unit.
