We’re so excited to finally share a project that has been close to all our hearts for quite some time. After months of planning, organising, and fundraising, we are incredibly proud to announce something very special…

 Every family admitted into the Neonatal Unit will now receive one of our Welcome Bags. 

We know that the start of a neonatal journey can feel overwhelming, emotional, and uncertain. Our hope is that these bags will offer a little comfort during those first difficult days with something thoughtful, practical, and meaningful that families can treasure long after they leave the unit.

What’s Inside Each Personalised Welcome Bag?

Each bag has been carefully curated with love and intention. Inside, families will find:

 A keepsake Wish Upon a Fairy Teddy

A soft, comforting friend to sit beside baby and a keepsake to hold onto for years to come.

 Wish Upon a Fairy Thermos Mug

Long days and nights on the unit call for warm drinks. This thermos helps keep tea or coffee safe and warm during those precious bedside moments.

 A Book to Read to Baby

Even in the neonatal unit, reading to baby is powerful. It strengthens bonding, supports development, and creates beautiful memories and the book can be kept as a keepsake as they grow.

 Sensory Cards for the Incubator

Designed to provide gentle visual stimulation and add a touch of warmth around baby’s space.

 A Notebook and Pen

Perfect for jotting down important information, questions for doctors, milestones, or even creating a personal journal of baby’s journey.

 A Refreshment Pack

Because in stressful moments, remembering to eat and drink can be difficult. A small pack of treats can make a big difference.

 A Handheld Fan

The unit needs to be warm for the babies but can get a little too warm for adults so this small but thoughtful item helps parents stay comfortable.

 A Bib & Rattle for Baby

A little something special for when baby is ready, a sweet reminder of how far they’ve come.
